EU faces fresh standoff over Aquarius migrant boat

European countries face pressure to resolve a new standoff with operators of the migrant rescue ship Aquarius which is stranded for a second time in the Mediterranean carrying 141 people.

First asylum holding centres open in Germany under controversial plan
