EU pledges 42.5m euros ahead of talks on Middle East peace efforts

The European Union has agreed to spend an extra 42.5 million euros on building a “democratic and accountable” Palestinian state, foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini says.

Iraq condemns German woman to death for belonging to IS group

An Iraqi court says it has condemned to death by hanging a German woman of Moroccan origin after finding her guilty of belonging to the Islamic State jihadist group.
